Generating Timetablestr

Introductionstr

Once all the required details such as number of Periods for each of the Subjects are entered, constraints have been specified and all the errors have been resolved, you can proceed to create a Timetable.

Creating a timetable is a process of generating a Schedule for all the classes with optimal assignment of Teachers to the Classes.

Prerequisite: All the errors must be resolved before generating a Timetable. The CREATE TIMETABLE button would be disabled until all the issues have been addressed.

Create Timetablestr

To create a timetable first check that there are no outstanding errors by clicking ERRORS AND WARNINGS button.

After confirming that there are no more open issues, proceed to the CREATE TIMETABLE button on the right top corner and click it as shown in the video below.

Once button is clicked, the page redirects to the School Dashboard page.

Note

Depending upon the complexity of the Schedule (number of Periods, number of Rules etc.), the Timetable Generation process can take any time from a few minutes to 15 minutes. In very complex problems (for example, more than 50 Groups), it may take even longer.

When a Schedule is being generated, the Schedule card will look as follows:
